Do you even English?
Yes, he does... Just not very well.
Quote:Talents matters...and so do coaches. So do you believe Bradley has squeezed maximum production out of the roster each of his years here?
That depends on what you think the roster was capable of.
Quote:"7-9? Good season Gus.. Really had the guys playing hard."
I'm over that. If you can only win 2 more games with a roster that has been severely upgraded this off season, you needs to go.
If Gus doesn't make playoffs, say goodbye and bring in someone who can. This job will be very enticing to HCs around the league.
You better believe it ! Of course Caldwell and Khan not gonna say that his job is on the line... Jags and Gus dont need that distraction..
Quote:Dave Caldwell says Myles Jack was 1 of 4 players they were targeting at 5. He also says he would NOT call this a make or break year for Gus. I'm telling you guys that think Gus needs to win 10 games to save his job, YOUR WRONG.
we know this already because Gus would have BEEN fired by any competent GM. I just dont' see how we win 5-6 games this season and any GM in their right mind is OK with that and keeps the coach around. so 10 wins? no....but we GOTTA be ,500 with much improvement on Defense. or ELSE
What if Bortles tore his ACL in preseason and we went 5-11. Does Gus stay still?

Please stop with all these crazy talk. Call me superstitious, but as the great Michael Clarke Duncan said..."Don't you put this evil on me, Ricky Bobby!"
I remember last off-season someone joked about Fowler tearing his ACL, and then he did. Someone already made a comment on Jack getting hurt in similar fashion.
Just enjoy what little luck we've had.

How about the guys on this board who really kill it on Madden?
That's probably our best option.
Quote:I think he means that this is the first offseason where he thinks we have a shot, and now, we need to see what happens.
Really, now? What's that say re: talent level vs coaching acumen? I do wonder.
I'm not usually down on Gus because he has not had the talent. This may be gelling year for the team but we should see more winnable games being won. Definitely should be above 500 this year. GO JAGS!!!!!
Waste of time discussing fate of Gus. Ride the Gus Bus until Caldwell and mostly Kahn change the driver of bus.
So get on the Bus Gus,don't need to discuss much. Problem is all inside your head. The answer is easy if you take it logically. I'd like to help you in your struggle to be free. It really is not my habit to intrude. Furthermore, I hope my meaning won't be lost or misconstrued but Get on the Gus Bus until Gus is free...see.☺
Quote:If you are going to capitalize and emphasize that we are wrong, how about using the correct form YOU'RE.
Well played.

He's showing off his new brain injury.

I don't know, win the division led by unproven QBs and a dinosaur in Indy? So what Houston has a good defense, their offense was awful. This last year should have been a year we were playing for the division title in the last game vs Houston. 8-8 should have been reached with the injuries we lucked into last year vs certain teams. We dropped the ball in quite a few games last year.
As I recall, Mr Kahn has made some statements that he expects to see major improvement next year. He alluded to consequences, and the implication was that Gus's job was on the line. That's how I interpreted it, anyway.
Gus is a defensive coach, and he hasn't been able to run the scheme he had with the Seahawks because he simply didn't have the talent to pull it off. Now he does. There will be no excuses if he fails.

Not necessarily while it may not be a make or break it year for Gus Bradley in Dave Caldwell's eyes if the owner fires Dave after another losing season he will probably hire a GM that will fire Gus...just saying...

Come on, you and I both know that the chances of Caldwell being fired after this season is exactly 0.0%. Bro...
