Now the draft is over and we have the picks we wanted (Ramsey & Jack). How do we look going into Game Day 1 against the Packers with genuine pass rushers? That's if everyone remains healthy.

Really looking forward to seeing Fowler this year, Ramsey and Jack are just the icing on the cake.
I hope we crush em
I think we match up really well against their receivers and TE now.

Pass rush will be a key against them.  Fortunately, they had issues protecting Rodgers, too.

Defensively, it may come down to stopping the run.

Offensively, I am concerned about them moving Clay Matthews Jr back to OLB where he can rush the passer.  I think their secondary is good, but I think they are vulnerable against our passing attack.

Back in the day, openers were our thing, and held the best opening day record, on par with Dallas I think.

My ritual was to fly to da Ville for season debuts, and some finales. Now...

But the light is around the next corner of the tunnel. We will be back

I agree. The Jaguars should be able to cover now, the game will come down to how well the Jaguars protect Bortles and how well the Jaguars can defend the run while still dropping back good pass coverage.
Is this the *** THE OFFICIAL JAGUARS VS PACKERS THREAD ***

No.

Think of it as an official thread walkthrough/scrimmage.
That game is so far away its like in another galaxy at this point in time....

Yawn...

Football talk will be boring for another few weeks...

Another few weeks???   Try another few months.   The draft is like eating a bunch of dessert, followed by the sugar crash of the following months where we all have to find something to do to fill our time.

For me, it will be insanely rough until June, when the preseason mags come out.

This board, those mags, NFLN and DVD reviews of past games are what's going to get me through until training camp.

Until then, I am going through withdrawal like Pookie from "New Jack City."

Soccer season is in the swing of things. Or if you're really bored you can watch some Rugby League. Good English sport!
@LVSuperBook has Jags projected to win 7, Texans 8.5? Colts 9 and Titans 5.5?

So Colts winning the division..

If this proves to be the case then it will be 'good bye Gus' time. However, let's hope this prediction is wrong and we manage to go at least 8-8 this season.
