I doubt Myles Jack falls to the 2nd round IMO, but I also highly doubt that he's going to be drafted by Jacksonville... I've been saying that for months (and started to doubt myself due to all the media, fans, and everyone saying he was)...
I think Jalen Ramsey was always the guy..

Well, that would be stellar if we got Jalen Ramsey at 5. I would be doing backflips.

Per Adam Schein. Will Jack go in the top 10?
"Yes -- yes, he will. If he's still there at 10, he's a Giant. But I'm staying with my original prediction of Jack being the perfect fit for Gus Bradley's Jaguars.
I know, I know: There are rumors swirling that Jack could be in for a draft-day dip due to concerns about his health. Folks, this is Lying Season in the NFL. In many instances, when you read reports of a potential slide at this time of year, the sources are teams hoping a particular player falls so they can draft him.
Jack is a rare talent, a highly versatile linebacker who could become the centerpiece of Bradley's defense."

@pschargs 2 sources tell me @MylesJack moving down/off some draft boards because of knee. 1 exec says likely out of top 10 @SiriusXMNFL @NFLonFOX

You know when teams start raising their concerns about certain players during draft week it is smokescreen. Sure, Myles Jack may need microfracture surgery. But I don't believe the part about only being able to play four years. Many guys, including linebackers, play a long time after having their knees surgically repaired. We are not talking about a major ligament tear. I think all of the teams that expressed concerns about his knee this week need linebackers.

Yes, what you say is true, however, Jack's main selling point is his speed. If you take away the speed, he's not the same guy. That's why a knee problem is so impactful for him.

Why take Jack at 5 when you can have Smith in the second round?

The perfect draft....
1. Myles Jack
2. Jaylon Smith
3. Dr. James Andrews

So you're planning on trading up to 3? Because it's unlikely that Jalen Ramsey will be the guy at 5, no matter how much the Jaguars love him.

Put their good knees together and you have one hell of a linebacker.

Why take Jaylon Smith and put him on IR when you can take Myles Jack and play him in Week 1?

Casserly is such a tool. He's wrong more often than not. There's a reason he's not a GM anymore.

I think it's all smoke trying to have Jack drop to some team. If this was really an issue, I think it would have been brought up much earlier than a few days before the draft. I don't think Dave is falling for it; but it really depends on how he sees him. We'll see tonight. Can't freakin wait!!!
GO JAGS!!
