JAX has drafted underclassmen in 10 of last 12 drafts & in first round in 3 consecutive yrs: '15: @dantefowler '14: @BBortles5 '13: Joeckel

An interesting little tidbit on the first round.

Bosa is a junior and my gut feeling as to who we are drafting.

Quote:Not a good year to néed or be a LB

Next year we will get Jarrad Davis, no worries.
Quote:Can't wait till it starts, will be a long night for me as I'm from Italy and the draft starts at 2.00 a.m here for me with the Jaguars picking almost at 3.00 a.m.

I wonder if we have any plans for trading up back into the first round...I guess I'll find out about it in the morning here..

Wow ... that's pretty cool. Welcome to the board. Nice to have some representation from Italy.
Quote:Bosa 1st?

Meh.

I like Noah Spence better than Bosa. And I'm sold that this kid's troubles are behind him.

1. Ramsey

2. Spence

3. Bosa

Quote honestly, I didn't watch many of the Eastern Kentucky games in the fall and don't like to base my opinions on YouTube highlights (like Gene Smith).

That said, I do what everything that is on Thursdays and Saturdays and with the exception of the OSU vs MSU game, Bosa was pretty impactful in the games in which he played.

I'm really not certain why you thing Spence has put his issue behind him given the fact that he's been clean for 1 year (so he says). What happens when you put $4 million in his pocket?

Noah Spence -> "Treated for drug addiction and banned for life from Big Ten after failed drug tests in 2013 and 2014. Arrested in May of 2015 for alcohol intoxication and second-degree disorderly conduct, but incident was expunged from record after community service."

Yes please. I was pretty bummed when he went back for his senior year. He would be the perfect MLB for this team.

Thank you, really!

It will be fun following the draft with you guys this year Smile

Quote:I'll put forth a wild, way out there, conspiracy theory type idea......But I can't imagine why Jack would mention that he might need micro fracture surgery for any other reason........maybe Jack doesn't want to go to Jacksonville. Maybe, by saying what he said, he purposely is trying to move down the board. The further he moves down, the better the team he gets drafted by........I realize he'd be giving up some money, but I thought I read somewhere that his insurance policy pays out more if he's not drafted high. If true, that would make up some or all of the difference. Crazy? Maybe so.

What he said will have no impact where he's drafted. The teams have spend tons of hours having doctors check him out health wise. They know everything about the knee already. Also the money for getting drafted higher is most likely higher than the insurance unless it's like 1 or 2 picks.
Who's going to the draft party?

right there, ill be at the nose bleed seats
"Jacksonville owns eight picks in tonight's 2016 NFL Draft. Like the rest of the NFL teams, a lot of drama and trades is expected in the next three nights from the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago."

I though the Jaguars only had 1 pick tonight.

Bosa or Ramsey if we stay at 5. But Dave wants to drop - why? Who is Dave targeting and how low can he go?

Favorite day(s) of the year.

Sources: #Bama LB Reggie Ragland was flagged for an enlarged aorta, which requires yearly monitoring. Some teams have pushed him down a bit

According to seven teams, #Bama LB Reggie Ragland's enlarged aorta is not expected to alter his football career. He just must watch it close

Just means more blood pushing to his muscles. Lance Armstrong would be envious.
So Stanley is the best LT?

Am I the only one left that wants Caldwell to select Mack w/the #5 pick? :ermm:

NH3...

NH3...

I think most people just assume his health will hold him from being the pick. If he is found healthy enough and picked, I think everyone would be ecstatic.
Nope NH3, I'm still holding onto he's our pick. But if we don't, then I'll assume his knee is too big a risk. Either way, I'm fine with. If Dave believes he's good, then I'm good.

GO JAGS!!

These late Elliott tumors are great. Trying to get some team like #Dolphins to trade up.
