Quote:Yeah that statement is borderline moronic by Jack. It's almost like he wants to fall to a specific team. Maybe he grew up a 49er fan.
That's what I mean.
I wasn't one to jump on all this talk, but the fact that literally everyone is now is saying it and than with that comment, I'm certainly a bit worried about it.
Quote:How do you know that? Do you have a medical degree?
Yes. I'm a radiology resident.
Quote:I'm starting to believe it personally. Literally everyone is saying this, and Jack coming out and talking about possibly needing microfracture surgery and "playing 3 years would be more than what a lot of people would get" worries the hell out of me. I certainly am starting to believe he won't be our guy.
When did he say something about playing only three years?

I posted a quote, go look at rotoworld.
Quote:Yeah it is crazy. Although I assume he has the lost of value policy that will cover him if he falls due to his knee.
Careful with that. Insurance companies don't make money by paying out. If he falls in the draft and files a claim, they now have the ammunition to say, "You would have gone in the top five if you hadn't talked about needing microfracture surgery," and they'd win.
You guys are acting like honesty is a bad thing. When asked if more surgery will be required, Jack can't lie about it.

He could have just said he doesn't know which is the crux of what he said.

He could have answered that he's not a doctor, or something like that. Instead, he jeopardized his draft slot and his insurance policy.
He did say his draft slot does not matter IIRC.
lol, yeah right the Giants will draft him at #10 if he's there... don't believe that stuff

They are trying to make him be available at #10.
Quote:Myles did what to the giants board?
Yo, I was so slow with this one. LOL!

Maybe in the sense of trust. But Teams already know what e knows, so it doesn't really hurt his stock.
If Jack falls into the 20's I'd be trading up to grab him.
The chances are slim but imagine getting Ramsey at 5 and Jack at say 22.
There will obviously be some risk associated with Jack, regardless of how servere you think the injury is. I guess the ultimate questions will be;
1) are we in a position to take the risk
2) does the reward outweigh the risk
I personally think we'll draft "safe" and take Buckner or Tunsil
Why would we take Tunsil after picking up Beacham?

Micro smoke screen.

No. This is what I think are Dave's preferences:
1) Ramsey
2) Bosa
3) Trade down and take Floyd
4) Can't trade down- take Floyd anyway.
Why are people suddenly talking about Leonard Floyd being our pick?

That's what we're hearing on TV. Several pundits have suddenly started talking about Floyd being a top-10, even top-5 pick, and there is some indication (again, in the media) that the Jags are taking a serious interest in drafting him.
