Quote:Elliott is the best RB in the draft, no question, he could be the best blocking RB in the NFL in his first week (tons of teams that want a 3 down guy whom can block for their QB in addition to being a powerful runner) basically what TJ Yeldon was for the Jaguars last season but Elliott is much better at it.
What I said was not a knock on Elliot as a player but the Dolphins as an organization. Trading up to 3 after you traded down from 8 to 13 is madness.
Elliot and Buckner going 3/4 would be a dream come true.

Quote:If this happened, they Jaguars essentially have the second overall pick. Pray that it happens.
Not only that, but it expands the trade down possibilities for teams looking for the top ranked LT.

To me, under that scenario, perhaps we trade down to 7, pick up an extra pick, and still end up with Jack or Bosa or _________.
Quote:Second overall pick can only mean one thing: we are on the clock after Los Angeles selects Jared Goff. It does not matter that everyone knows who the Rams and Eagles will pick.

:thanks:

Hopefully this means that Dallas is leaning towards Elliott. Whether Dallas gets Elliott or Miami leaps them to get him is good news for us.

Welcome back?

Wowsers!
I don't see Miami jumping to 3 for Elliott.  You don't give up that much for a RB.  A serviceable back can be picked up later.  They would be nuts.

Agreed, but we are talking about Miami. A team that let's it's homegrown talent walk and instead signs ridiculous deals to guys like N. Suh.
