Quote:Buckner, with Tunsil and Floyd tied for second.

I'll be throwing my shoe at the TV if they pick Floyd.
I can probably be swayed one way or another with most of these guys.  Gene Smith isn't here so I am not afraid of Dave massively overreaching on someone.

Quote:Why would grabbing the best man to man corner be the worst thing?

I think he's a good player, I just think he's gonna have to do a couple years of learning before he maxes out his potential. He gave up a few big plays from time to time in college, especially on routes that took longer to develop. He's played against a lot of spread offenses and I just feel like the learning curve is gonna be too steep for him to produce this year.

Who knows man. I was the most angry when we drafted Bortles and MJD, and i obviously missed on those ones lol.
Quote:Tunsil, but mostly because we really need to improve our defense and not because I think he'll not be a good player.

Pretty much this.
If they take anyone on the  offensive side of the ball I'll be mad

I don't get why people don't want Buckner.

Not a sexy pick like Ramsey or Jack, but still a huge and fast pass rusher.

I wouldn't call him a pass rusher even with the 10 sacks that he had, but I'd rather just say he has the potential to be an all around freak of a football player. That size is ridiculous.
Tunsil if we spend another top 5 pick on the same position it's a tough pill to swallow.

I voted VH3 because he's too slow to be a first round CB, but I really wanted an "All of the Above" choice.

Tunsil. I don't want the jags to draft a guy whose last healthy season was in high school.

Agree 100%. The man is an impact player on the d-line and I'm all for that.
VH3 for me, slow and smallish, nothing special about him, not a top 5 guy, IMO. I'm OK with Buckner and Tunsil; still conflicted on Jack but In Dave We Trust.

Anyone but Jack, Bosa, or Ramsey at 5.
The one I would be disappointed I would be Hargreaves. Tunsil and Buckner at projected top 5, so wouldn't have nearly as big of an issue with either of them.

I can't imagine, Lawson or Spence even being a consideration that high. Those would indeed be nut punches tho
Tyson Alualu...

Whoops, I mean Deforest Buckner/ Leanard Floyd.

lol I literally just saw Alualu ten minutes ago.
Buckner or Hargreaves
I think all the guys in the poll would be a nut punch.

For me, it's Tunsil. It would mean the Beachum signing was a complete waste and we'd still be missing a starting guard/center (and don't give me that crap about moving Joeckel inside and everything being okay). We need to draft a starting quality guard/center in rounds 2 or 3.

The #5 selection has to be an impact defender.

I guarantee no matter who is drafted that people will come on this board and complain about it.

Everyone thinks that they know, but nobody really knows, it is simply educated guesses by professionals yet fans always are so certain.  Of course sometimes the pros are so off you can't help but to scratch your head (Tyson Alualu was a reach, I don't care what anyone says about it)!

How many people on this message board, or in the media had the Jaguars drafting Blake Bortles in 2014?  Nobody, that is who...

yet he has been the best first round pick in over a decade (really the only good one in ten years).
