The way it is presented is bad. What you don't see is the Jags #33 pick that we acquired from the Titans. This would essentially allow the Jags to obtain a Safety & DB (or DE) with 2 early 2nd round picks if the go LB in the middle of the 1st.
Quote:Floyd doesn't have any injury concerns that I'm aware of.
But the other two conditions-they don't like, or otherwise don't know what to do with-stand.
Id stay put if could and get Ramsey or Jack... Send Jack to the team doctors and if all is well draft him and send him on the first flight to duval.

Trade down fans might like this one, though the idea of trading with the tacks makes me want to take a shower-one of those radioactive exposure brush showers.
No thanks not passing on elite players for and extra 2nd, not a huge Floyd fan either, now if we landed William Jackson or Apple, even Noah Spence would prob be ok with it.
I think Ramsey is the best player in this draft. I wouldnt mind trading up to numbet 3 to land him.
I don't want to trade out of the top 10. I think we miss out on all of the elite players doing that. I think we're in a good spot at 5 and should stay there.
GO JAGS!!
1. In that mock Spence hasn't been picked yet. If we could get Spence with pick #33 (Cleveland has pick #32) then that would be a great start.
2. Peter King missed the obvious. Houston will end up picking #32.
I expect the Jaguars to have multiple trade offers from teams wanting Tunsil (Tennessee) or Elliot (Miami, Giants). I do expect Ramsay to go 3rd or 4th so he'll be off the board. Unless they have no doubt that Jack's injury is exaggerated, a trade down with the Titans would be a good move. They do need more than King indicated, however. Caldwell demands a 2nd (pick 32, I believe) and a 3rd this year. With the right picks, the team will be in great shape.
1st round: Hargreaves
2nd round (32): Spence
2nd round (38) : Joseph
3rd round: Correa or Jenkins (OTTO)
3rd round: Austin Johnson
You could end up with the best pure corner, best pass rusher and best safety in the entire draft (not named Ramsay). In addition, you get one of the best OTTO pospects and a solid defensive tackle to add to the rotation. I really think the Titans might do this to get Tunsil.
If Tennessee wants to trade up to 5, I'm making them pay. I call it the division rival tax.
Give me #15, 2 2nd rounders, a 3rd this year, and a 4th next year.
The only talk the GM should have with the Titans is who will own your team next year?
I would be okay with a trade with the Titans if in addition to the things mentioned in that article the Jaguars also got next year's 1st round pick from the Titans... otherwise that is a horrible deal.
We will not trade down. Reason- this is the last year we will be drafting this high, therefore, this is the last time we will have a shot at an elite player.

We have one more year of Gus Bradley, so there's still 2017.
The thing is, why would they trade up using picks they just got? I'm pretty sure they are gonna stay put and just accumulate talent.
Quote:No point. At 5 we are guaranteed one of the big 3. Ramsey has question marks on his own, terrible idea to trade up for him.
Not disagreeing, but why not go get the 1 out of the 3 you want! If you don't like Jacks knee then what happens if Bosa, and Ramsey go to chargers and Cowboys? Still, to back up your point some, I think that a good player will be there at 5.
Rumors that a trade is quite possible. Only reason I can see that is of the big three of Bosa, Jack, and Ramsey, if one or 2 of those guys aren't there that they're targeting but the one or 2 other are, they'll trade back.
The big 3 is tunsil, ramsey, bosa. Chargers may be leaning towards ramsey. Cowboys get buckner/bosa which leaves us to choose between a linebacker or a tackle
