I think if you had to compare jim with a player you would have to go out of position kinda like a Tj Ward dropping down into the box. but a backer comp is difficult to me.

Quote:Patrick Willis..
More Willis Drummond.
Seriously though, isn't Jack on the smaller side?

except one had no injury concerns, another might have cartilage issues in his knee which is a HUGE no no

Krayz... Since you know the facts about his knee, you should contact Dave and the medical team and tell them not to draft him for the sake of the Jaguars.

This need to compare Jack to guys he doesn't have much in common with outside of measurables like Kuechly and Willis really needs to stop.

He reminds me of a cross between a bigger Vince Wilfork and a faster Deion Sanders. Think The Big Show and Usain Bolt.

Quote:Patrick Willis..
Patrick Willis and Myles Jack had the same height, 6'1" but Willis was 15 lbs heavier (not sure about the speed close to the same Patrick 4.51 in 40).
Myles Jack might have more than 1 INT per year (8 in his career Patrick Willis) and more than 6 PDs per year too while Patrick was more of a run stuffer than Myles would probably be (a lot of people see Myles more as a Safety Hybrid than OLB). The thing about Myles is his injury its hard for teams to see him as a Top 5 pick because of it.. I guess we'll find out..

I keep reading on this message board, and in the media that Myles Jack is going to the Jaguars but nobody clearly says for what role. I've heard Myles Jack say that he could even play an Earl Thomas role for the Jaguars but honestly Jalen Ramsey would probably play that role better & doesn't come with the injury risk.

He is a bigger faster version of Ray Lewis in my opinion.

He'll eventually move to MLB to replace Poz. To get him on the field for his rookie year he'll probably play some SLB and nickel MLB with a package or two having him at SS.

15 pounds? You sure about that?

I've read that somewhere too... about Ray lewis...
but again would you rather have a Ray Lewis LB or a chance to have a LT Tony Boselli (not saying Tunsil compares to him but just to show the importance of a LT over a LB).

Or tunsil could be another joeckel. Tackles aren't as safe picks as they appear. The college game is so different that there are lots of busts for tackles in the early parts of drafts. No pick is completely safe.

Jack measured in at 245 at the combine.
