The best part is seeing mariota right next to Gabbert, which lines up with what my eyes have been telling me watching him in games.

I never thought I would see the day that Gabbert was ahead of P. Manning in any kind of statistics related to NFL football.

Him and Derek Carr numbers are neck in neck and Blake hasn't finishing developing yet.

I would have to agree with where every QB appears on that chart.  The NFL should adopt this rating.

I don't know that there is any reason to agree, it's not a subjective rating, it's a statistical categorization. It shows what you can expect from each of the QBs in a given game last season. For Brady it was a high level performance that was as good as Andrew Luck's average game or better in 82% of his games. In mariota's case it was a low level performance that had some significant outlier performances (Tampa, New Orleans, and Jaguars games) that made his standard deviation practically meaningless. I expect in 2016 as the Jaguars manage to make the defense better than "one of the worst ever" and the bucs and saints fall off the schedule mariota's stats will trend closer to Bridgewater's and Gabbert's stats, just consistently poor.

A lot can change, but it was always clear watching Bortles play that he was a guy that had everything a true elite passer should have, and he just needed coaching and refining. I see Mariota as the opposite, he has everything that screams "game manager" and is plenty refined in all of the ways that don't matter. Mariota is Gabbert if Gabbert had gotten to face the equivalent of three games against the bucs in his rookie season with the first one being in his debut. Perception of Mariota is heavily slanted in his favor so far thanks to that first game, it made it easy for everyone to dismiss his really poor games against any team that could trot a reasonable defense onto the field.
