Coming up at noon at the draft luncheon. It'll be the final time we'll hear from Caldwell until draft night after the first pick is made. Let's see if he'll drop any hints on who he's picking.
Quote:Has he ever?
I remember in 2014 every media person in attendance thought for sure Manziel was our pick when Caldwell said that he was the most pro ready QB in the draft.
So to answer your question, no. But it's fun watching the media run with every little thing he'll say.
@nflcharlie The more I think about it, a trade between the #Chargers and #Jaguars to swap first-round spots makes perfect sense. Jags could throw in LJ.

lol. Would Joeckel even be a starter on that team? The biggest reason their line sucked last year was because of so many injuries.
Caldwell about to be on with Dempsey

Yeah, but...
He never really said that. What he said was that Manziel was the one who could get on the field
earlier since he wasn't really going to change his style of play. Here's the quote from Ryan O's
article dated 2 May, 2014:
<p style="margin-left:40px;">...“
Johnny would probably be the one guy you could plug in there sooner rather than later just because his style of play isn’t going to change much from Year 1 to Year 2
”...
Caldwell never really tips his hand, at all. It's just that folks seem to want to embellish the things that he says / states.
Caldwell does have interest in Norman. Says it's continuing interest.
Says he's had calls for trading back at #5.
He's paying attention at what happens at picks #3 and #4.
They have reached consensus at their pick.
When discussing Jack's knee he says don't believe everything you read or hear.
Mentioned he won't sacrifice talent for need.

Oh interesting.
Thanks for aggregating it all for us.
It will be hard for Caldwell to tip his hand, as he doesn't know who he'll be drafting. Depends on what happens in front of the Jaguar's pick.
He could list five or six guys who are a possibility - but we already know who they are. And rounds 2-7 are even more of a mystery, due to all of the variables.
The thing that interests me is if Caldwell has any desire or possibility for moving up or down.
On his last comment when discussing not passing on talent for need he says it may not be the best move for the team next year but it's for the long run.
My take: Tunsil, Buckner all in play.

Agreed, especially on Tunsil.
I hate to say it but I'm getting a feeling it's going to be Buckner come draft night.
