How would you guys feel about this mock that was done by Charlie at WalterFootball?
1) Myles Jack - LB - UCLA
2) Noah Spence - LEO - EK
3) Nick Martin - C - ND
4) Alex McCalister - LEO - UF
5) Harlan Miller - CB - SLU
If our draft started this way, I'd backflip all the way to the stadium and high-five Dave.
You've been consistent with Jack and then Spence, so I'm sure you do love it.
This would be a good draft.
This would be great for sure. Meets all of our most pressing needs!
I really like the first couple of rounds as Jack is my favourite player on the draft and Spence makes sense in the second round. Not sold on Nick Martin, I realize Kelly won't be there in the third but there are other G/C that I'd prefer over him in the draft.
McCalister it's fine although It seems he can be taken in later rounds too. I don't know much about the CB so I can't comment on that.
But all in all it would be a very good draft to me and possibly the one that makes the most sense in relation to our needs.
With the signing of Josh Norman, we'd be the Carolina Panthers of 2015. Chhammmppiioonnshhiiippp
Sign me up for that draft
4th is to early for Alex McCalister but I like rest of draft. Although I don't know anything about Harlan Miller.

Miller fits the tall/long physique Gus likes in his CBs. He was a beast at the FBS level but didn't have the best combine. Love his tape though.
I will take that draft in a heartbeat. It would be very gutsy on Caldwell's part due to the concerns about Jack and Spence. However, if these concerns prove to be unfounded and the Jags get both players their defense immediately becomes very scary.

Ironic, I hadn't heard about him either until today and then see this and some tweets about him at the same time. Didn't have the best combine would be an understatement lol.

I've seen some talk up CB Harlan Miller as a top 100 prospect. Per
@zjwhitman, his athletic testing places him in the bottom 5 percentile.

Make it happen Dave, that would be amazing
I really like all 5 players, 4 might be high for McCalister but if you like him a lot and dont want to lose him take him. I dont care about Harlan Miler's combine, its the 5th round he is a football player not a track star.
I don't think Center Nick Martin will fall to the 3rd round either the Jaguars draft him in the 2nd or they lose out on a potential good center for over a decade too huge of a need to draft Noah Spence instead (If Ryan is there he's the pick).
Myles Jack's knee is too big of a concern to go 5th overall... LT Tunsil, DB Jalen Ramsey, LE Joey Bosa, or DT Buckner will all go before Jack in the draft (I'm almost certain of it).

Definitely not a top 100 prospect. But in the 5th he'd be a steal.

Are you Jack's doctor? Unless you are (and you're committing a HIPAA violation), you're pulling that out of your rear. He says he's fine, all the videos I've seen of him on Twitter are fine, and there hasn't been a legitimate source stating otherwise.

People probably made that claim about Gurley too......

I think it was Daniel Jeremiah that mentioned this week that Miller is too slow. He said he was outran by a DII quarterback in one of the tapes he watched.

Yeah I'm a hard pass on anyone that unathletic at any point in the draft. He was a 1% athlete (which I didn't even know existed) until an 'improved' pro day work out raised him to a 5%.
