It could be because of having help from FS TaShaun Gipson

If we had a more proven coaching staff, I would expect 10-12+ wins this year with the level of talent we have here in Jacksonville now. Throw in Fowler Jr. and Bosa/Jack/Ramsey and you have even more talent to work with. Now to stay in check with reality, we have a bone-headed(go back and look at some of his clock management and challenges...bush league), unproven, inexperienced rah rah head coach looking to take a step forward himself. IF he does, look out! This team will explode, if not.. Then I expect the same unprepared, inconsistent mess we saw last year when the division was handed to us on a platter and we found a way to mess that up. With all that said, I can see us hitting 9 wins this year despite Gus.

Gus thinks all flavors are special. It doesn't matter if they taste good or not, as long as they compete and demonstrate their spirit.

House needs to get better. He made plays, that's for sure. I would say at least 3 of his interceptions were off a deflected pass off the receivers hands. Almost lucky in a way.


Happy to have him tho, he's got skills, but has to get better.

So...does House's comment deserve any more merit now? Not saying that we're going to lose only 1 game, but I must admit, I am asking myself "why not us"? Things still have to be proven on the field, but we are more "formidable" now than we have been in several years. I like House's unwavering confidence

Everyone needs to "get better", with that said I don't think House gets the respect around here he deserves. The guy was more than solid in coverage last year without the help of a pass rush or competent safeties, I'm excited to see how much better he can play now that (we on paper) have both.
