So here is a discussion on the Jaguars 2013 draft class. 6 players are still with the Jags but only 2 have a chance to start Luke Joeckel and Jonathan Cyprien.
How many players from this draft class are here a year from now? I think only 1 and that would be Denard Robinson with maybe Joeckel or Cyprien having a chance to stay but only if they can keep their starting positions.
Not sure Denard Robinson is here in a year.
Caldwell's first draft wasn't that good, but his second and third drafts look much better. I wonder how much of that was because he was working with Gene's scouts still.
Aside from Detroit and a couple of other teams, the 2013 draft was pretty bad for everyone. I wouldn't be shocked if all of them were gone by next year.
Yeah not a very good class. I really liked its potential, but clearly not where they expected it to be at either.
What you think the reason ( s ) was for Demetrius McCray in getting much less playing time on Defense in 2015 than he did in 2014 when he started 12 games?

He obviously regressed for some reason. I find the narrative that Gus and the other coaches were just so bad at their jobs that they didn't play him a bit silly. If McCray was good he would've played last year. The times he did play he got burned pretty badly.

When a player falls on a depth chart to the extent that Demetrius McCray did, usually it means the player ended up in the doghouse. It's fair to say that this is a critical off-season and summer for McCray.

I know. I totally want to see McCray emerge this offseason better than ever before. With Colvin out the first four games, he should have a real chance to show something, and quite frankly, I'm certain he's better than Gratz.

If, only if they stop trying to use him as a receiver (drops too many balls) and if he can PLEASE stop fumbling the ball.. he is a good change of pace outside running back though. Like I can see him staying here in a year as a 3rd string HB.
