If you had a magic wand and could make these guys the ones that some people have compared them to on the left which person would you want the Jaguars to draft at #5 (no, you can't trade up and get them all)..
The point of this exercise is to help you think what the team needs right now as opposed to which player might be the best in the draft (Best Available Player-BAP might not be a thing when a lot of them are closed rated in talent level its more of what role do you think the team really needs right now)...
Jalen Ramsey & Sanders both went to Florida State, both had similar size & speed (though Sanders was rumored to be faster in 40 but no video evidence to support it at the combine as he left after he ran it.) Trust me no one really thinks that Jalen Ramsey is the next Sanders or the Rams would take him 1st overall... I'm going with his best case scenario as nobody really knows maybe he could be better down the road....
As far as some of these I went with CBS Sports for whom they thought they were matched up, NFL.com or others..
Its just for fun don't flip out..
Okay, full disclosure .. I'm a bit bias as I didn't see any scenario in which Jalen Ramsey would fall to #5 but if he's there I would draft him..

NFL.com compares Jalen Ramsey to Sean Smith, which I believe to be far more accurate than a Deion Sanders comparison.
Caldwell went big after the edge rushers this off season for a reason, and struck out. If I am trying to address greatest need to get this team better, I would be taking the DE, in this case, Jared Allen (Joey Bosa).
However, my vote went to take the best leader on the list, one to give the defense a fire and identity.....Ray Lewis (Myles Jack).
Your choices here are just terrible.
Sanders and Lewis are on another planet compared to the rest of these guys.
Blank 2 gives you the best chance for success.
I'm a huge Ramsey fan but Primetime he is not.
If Ramsey was Deion, hands down on that choice. But he will not be......
GO JAGS!!

this
Jared Allen had 22 sacks in 2011. That's all I have to say.
As far as need goes, Jared Allen would be the guy. As far as talent, I think Lewis and Deion have an edge on him. Probably lean towards Deion since his position is slightly more important. But these guys aren't even close to that level.

I agree, no scout would have the courage to say this guy is going to be as good as Sanders or better but anything is possible & it was more to show that if all are considered possibly elite in their first year at their role (than it really just comes down to what you think the team needs the most / what you think is truly a premium position in the top 5)... and as great as Myles Jack is since nobody really knows if he'll be the next Ray Lewis or better .. but lets say he is... is a LB
more important than a ball hawking DB, or an elite pass rusher?

Of course we are only focused in on Defense but what if the team could have its only Skittles?

That is who many have compared Joey Bosa to (CBS Sports first had him compared to JJ Watt & then later changed it to Jared Allen) either way that is very high praise at a huge need for Jacksonville...
isnt an elite edge pass rusher more valuable than elite OLB?
Quote:Zeke to Marshawn Lynch?
Comparisons are a bit crazy, and the players themselves a lot of times don't want to be compared to someone else... in fact Jalen Ramsey said he's no Deion Sanders that he wants to build his own legacy... (he might even have a bigger ego than Sanders is that even possible)?.
Don't sleep on Elliott he's without question the best Running back in the draft, when all others probably wont even go in the first round he's considered a top 10 prospect.
Watch this clip below, he's smart, has passion & he's tough.

Easy...either Ray Lewis or Deion Sanders

I don't know Sean Smith is 6'3" 218lbs, lets check the combine results.
4.51 40 yard dash, 10 reps, 34 vert inch, 119 broad jump
, 6.94 sec 3 cone,
4.16 20 yard
Then Jalen Ramsey whom is 6'1", 209lbs, 33 3/8" arm, 9 1/2" hands compared to his combine
4.41 40 yard dash, 14 reps, 41.5 vert "
,
135" Broad Jump,
6.94 sec 3 cone,
4.18 20 yard
, 11.10 60 yard
Not that Sean Smith is a bad corner he would be good too, but I really don't see the comparison of Jalen to him at all I mean in what way?
When interviewed Jalen Ramsey said he's not Deion Sanders that he is his own legacy but some of his role models was Richard Sherman, but he seemed especially happy when he mentioned Charles Woodson..
Let's look at Charles Woodson whom is 6'1", 210 lbs just like Jalen Ramsey, but wait.. this just in.. Dallas thinks that he might be the next Sanders... and is going to draft him at 4 if he's there..

You might think so what he can jump over 13 feet in the Broad jump, well...
---------------------------------------------------
SB Nation breaks it down in this link
http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2016/2/26/11...broad-jump
Most players would do well to get 10 feet on their broad jump, while the draft's elite athletes can go up to
11 feet or higher.
------Jalen jumped it over 11 feet
--------------------------------------------
The vertical jump is important for lower body burst & for out jumping WRs on passes
http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2016/2/26/11...tical-jump
Jalen jumped 7 1/2 inches more than Sean Smith thats shows how much more burst & chance of getting jump balls Jalen has over Sean Smith.
Not to mention .1 sec faster in a 40 can be huge, he is also stronger with 14 reps... simply look at the style they aren't the same I simply think the reporter didn't like Jalen.
The poll is close so far Myles Jack is leading...

Walter Football doesn't show Jaguars as an NFL Team matchup but compares Myles Jack to ;
Player Comparison: Derrick Brooks. I don't like to pick Hall of Famers for comparisons because it isn't fair to the prospect, but when watching Jack, Brooks comes to mind. The reason for that is the "once in a decade" pass-coverage skills, the ability to run sideline-to-sideline, and the rare athleticism. Nobody can't expect Jack to be as good as Brooks, but I think that Jack will be a similar style linebacker in the NFL.

Walter Football shows Jalen Ramsey as being compared to Richard Sherman or Charles Woodson (so maybe I should change it from Sanders to Woodson)?
Player Comparison: Richard Sherman/Charles Woodson. As a cornerback, Ramsey is a big press-man corner similar to Sherman. As a safety, Ramsey is a rangy play-maker who can cover tight ends and be a play-maker in the middle of the field. I don't think Ramsey will be as good as Sherman or Woodson, but his style of play is similar to those two star defensive backs. In speaking with former teammate Jameis Winston at the end of Winston's rookie year, he compared Ramsey to both of those defenders in those roles.
What no votes for LT Tunsil?
