<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Everyone knows I'm not on the LT is still an elite value position like many still believe, so this kind of shows the no man's land many of us are starting to feel pick 4 has become now that Solomon Thomas is mocked 2 or 3 virtually every draft.

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">That said, if we're desperate enough to need an instant impact guy like the people who argue for RB at 4 say, and we are desperate enough for OL help that some have started to say we should just take Lamp at 4, then we should start considering taking Bolles at 4.

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">25 is obviously very old for a prospect, but OL is probably the position that advanced prospect age can be forgiven more than any other considering career arc. He is OL1 to me otherwise. He only did it for one year, but that phenomenal year of tape combined with his class leading athleticism, length, and the mean streak everyone wants in a lineman...we could do worse. Heck, we probably will do worse.

I'll pass.

He's probably OL#4 or so for me so I'll pass.

He'd sure tighten things up at WR, and for that matter I'd take him over Bolles at the spot.

Remember, we're paying Hurns $10 mil per, and ARob probably gets an even bigger extension later this offseason.

Considering we can cut Hurns for free after this year, Davis certainly falls into the "better than RB at 4" category too.

 

But we know there's no way that's happening. If we feel that desperate, the top OL in the draft is an actual possibility at some level. 

If we want to win this year, we absolutely must hit on an offensive lineman in our first 3 picks.  Preferably with pick #2. 

 

With out first pick, #4 overall, we absolutely must pick best player available. 

Nah. He's not even the best tackle in this claas.

I had to double check that about Hurns. He's guaranteed $4 mil of his base salary in 2018, but we actually can cut him for free after 2018. His contract is mostly salary and an upfront roster bonus paid last year. Hmm... WR may be in play afterall.

If I was gonna draft a LT that high, it would be Ramczyk.

Zero chance of Jags taking WR at 4. Zero, Nada, zilch. What is it with folks always wanting to get rid of our best players?

Well, this is certainly one of the few places where Bolles isn't seen as the consensus OT1 outside of his age nowadays.

Outside of you suggesting he's OT 1. I've seen it in 1 other place. He's typically ranked between 2-4 in the OT class.
