They will be able to make the call if he is physically sound enough to take at 5.

It's certainly not sounding good.

If he goes #5 to us, our medical team passed him and we feel confident in a full recovery. If he's there and we dont, then maybe we either had the guy we took higher on our board or don't trust the knee.
There's no reason to believe any "repoets" that come out right now like this. Happens every year on prospects.

Was it just before the draft like this? Any other examples.

There are no long term concerns with a Meniscus tear.

I believe it was at his pro day. I can't think of any others. They obviously hold him height of both are going for a visit.

Yeah I agree.
Just nervous, these last 12 days are going to take forever. I almost wish our FO leaked more stuff. There's never any solid info from us, it's always just speculation on what would "make sense".

Blake was in house before the draft and we went to his pro day. Not sure we went to visit him at random in his facility besides that. Could be wrong.

Blake was also basically in their back yard.
04-16-2016, 12:23 PM
And after we had already had him in house and at his pro day, so not sure I've seen that from dave and Gus before.

The only concern is possible arthritis and the need for microfracture but that could be 10+ years down the line and possibly inevitable regardless of the knee.

I don't see Myles Jack being drafted in the Top 10 (that is my shocker upset for the draft).

Are they working him out or just meeting with him? Reports I've seen all seem to say they're just meeting with him.

Yes, every year teams try to talk down players in the hope they will fall.
But it’s also true that every year players drop because they genuinely DO have injuries and sometimes they are injuries we (the fans) don't hear much about until the day after the draft
Remember Jay Ajayi last year? Lots of people thought he'd go in the second round, but a lot of teams saw his knee injury differently and he fell into the middle rounds.
I wouldn't write this off as nothing. The truth is that we simply don't know.
