Quote:Tunsil is still on the board when the Jags pick.
If the tacks offered the Rams 1st, and two 2nds for the #5 pick (presumably to get Tunsil) would you take the deal?
Value chart says you do that trade if you're the Jags. It depends on who is on the board and how the Jags feel about them though. Also I doubt the tacks would move back up into the top 5. If they were in love with Tunsil they could have probably gotten a little more to move out of 1 overall. Or possibly traded with someone else not so far down in the 1st round. I don't think they are that interested in him. If he falls a bit more past 5 maybe they'd consider it.

Probably, but there's no way they do that.
Quote:Honestly, I think this is almost a lock. It just makes way too much sense to play out any other way. Rivers got absolutely torched this year so they draft the best LT.
Cowboys would be able to get possibly the best D player in the draft to help in a division with Beckham and the high flying Skins (lol)
We take Jack to be the star MLB next year and let him play all over this year.
Rumors saying cowboys want to beef up dline.. I think bosa r Buckner is the pick there.. That leaves Ramsey and jack.. I would think Ramsey would be the pick for jags.. He's the best defender in the draft..

Some other team might though.
First 2 picks going to be QBs, that leaves us with ramsey, jack, tunsil, bosa.
Caldwell, please pick Tunsil then Derrick henry in the 2nd round. Our explosive, powerful offense will carry our no pass rush defense to the promise land. Chhhammpppiiionnshiiipppp

A draft like this would turn the fan base against Caldwell.
Could it be
Rams - Wentz
Brown - Goff
Chargers - Tunsil
Cowboys - Elliott
Leaving us with all def players available...

No way, with tunsil protecting bortles giving him all the time in the world to scan the field, while hurns, robinson, Thomas, lee, greene have all the time in the world to run routes, gigantic running lanes for Henry and Yeldon. Bortles 5k passing yards, 50 tds passes, hurns and robinson over 1400 yards each, Julius Thomas over 1k yards, henry and yeldon each over 1k yards rushing. CHHhhhhhhhhhammmmmmpppiiiiooonnshhhiiipppp

If I choose between Ramsey jack and bosa.. It would still be Ramsey.. Because if Dallas gets jack.. Then that leaves Ramsey r bosa.. I would go Ramsey..
If Bosa goes to the cow girls, and we aren't sold on Ramsey or Jack, we might get a trade back scenario where someone wants to move up and grab Ramsey. Sliding back and nabbing a Shaq Lawson or the like plus more picks would be awesome.
Quote:Three caveats:
1. It evens out a bit if the Rams actually hit on their pick of a franchise QB
2. The Rams are still flush with some young talent in the aftermath of the RG III deal. If any team could afford to give up a haul like that, the Rams could.
3. The tacks have to actually hit on those picks.
Agreed on all counts.
When you look at the current state of the organization, there's no certainty that the tacks will hit on the additional picks they've hauled in. Still, that's one heck of a deal they made.

This too.. But Ramsey is too hard to pass up..

This would be an interesting scenario. So the question would be: Which of Bosa, Ramsey, or Jack would you choose? I'm still on the Jack wagon big time (though his injury does bother me just a tad, hopefully it doesn't greatly affect his future performance), but would also not be terribly upset if we were to choose Ramsey.

It's a sweet deal.
They could rebuild their defense significantly by the 3rd round and still have picks this year to add players, to say nothing of the extra #1 in 2017.
Regarding LA, I don't see Fisher surviving another year beyond this one, unless Wentz (or Goff) is out the box good-great like Big Ben or Marino.
He'll likely be pressured to start the rookie since they are in a new town. That means struggling offense.
Does the NFL give the Rams a cake early schedule to help them build momentum in LA? I can see it happening.

I can see you are not very good at this. Defense wins championships!

Then the Madden game is programmed wrong?
Quote:Why would the Chargers take a FS over their biggest need (OL) with an elite player available? Makes no sense. Especially when LT is a premium position and FS is not.
Unless Tunsil is graded a full tier higher Ramsey should be the pick. Their offensive line isn't really their biggest need, they just had 4 starters injured last year. With LT Dunlap, RT Barksdale, RG Fluker, and LG Orlando Franklin all locked up to long term deals...that might not be world beater but it's quite solid.
Their secondary has a gaping hole opposite Verrett outside (Flowers was horrendous the past two years), and they could certainly use a replacement for Weddle cause Lowery isn't a long term answer obviously.
Also don't really want to get into this debate again, but FS is pretty easily more premium than LT nowadays. I think the extremely lukewarm LT FA market helped prove that too.

I think I would quit. Honestly.
A tackle when you already have 2 who can do the job and a RB when you already have Yeldon and Ivory? Please tell me you're joking.
