Don't know if this video has been posted in the past on here but I just saw it today. I love seeing the footage of downtown from 1942 and how busy it was especially at night time.

the shot of Atlantic Blvd was pretty cool also. Reminds me of Heckscher Dr when I was a kid.
Wow. Atlantic Blvd! I remember my dad driving us down it in the 80's and it wasn't anything like that but it was not as built up as today either. Not even close. I remember the row houses downtown where the mass transit bus station is. I remember watching the Landing and Acosta Bridge being built. Man, that's the stuff that can make you feel old and I'm only 44.
That's not the Adams street I know. Where's the bums, panhandlers and yuppies walking across the street holding their Starbucks?
