No
Last 8 games of the schedule will be rough

Meh don't really care about not having prime time games. I would rather have the Jags win and earn the respect than just given to us on a silver platter.

Agreed.

I guess the experience of being at a MNF might be cool for season ticket holders and what not...

But for the TV guy I am. I don't really care. Sure it'd be nice to not have to surf through the interwebs to find the game..... but I don't miss a lot of games anymore no matter what.

As per the schedule...

I think it's perfect. Open at home. Not too many crazy road stints. 3 of 5 at the end are at home.

It's not an easy schedule (I don't care about SOS based on last year)

But it isn't a gauntlet....

Gus has his shot to earn 9 wins this season with a team certainly capable of doing it.
The Jaguars are gaining respect from credible NFL media people.   One example is from Lions beat writer Dave Birkett,  who is one of the best NFL beat writers.   He's currently predicting the Jaguars beating the Lions in November and wrote the following:

■Week 11: vs. Jacksonville — With Blake Bortles, Allen Robinson and that running game, the Jaguars could be a top-five offense this year. Pick: Jaguars 27, Lions 21.

Michael Dirocco of ESPN predicts 7-9. That's being generous. lol
Hicken predicted 9-7. That is being very generous. Counted a lot of "easy" wins.

I really think he was being tongue in cheek.

He has them going 5-1 in division.
First quarter of the season, my prediction at this point (prior to the draft, etc.) is as follows.

Green Bay - Most likely a loss.  I would be surprised if we actually win this one.

@San Diego - Hard to tell.  Historically the team does not do well traveling to the west coast, and it's tough to predict how good/bad San Diego will be this season.  This one could potentially go either way with a lean towards a possible loss.

Baltimore - This should be a pretty good game, and I can see a win here.

*Indianapolis - Since this game takes place on our "other home field" I would look to this being a potential win.  Looking at the intangibles, both teams have a home game the Sunday prior, but the Colts game is later (4:25) than the Jaguars (1:00).  Also, the Jaguars staff is pretty well-versed in the over-seas trip.

It will be the Clots first trip to the UK I believe.  That should give us the advantage.  The team played well last year against a quality opponent and it was a very entertaining game.

Generous prediction. While we will probably win some games we aren't supposed to, we will also lose ones we are supposed to win. Curious if they can string a few wins together.
