I'd like to believe you but I've seen a lot of this myself. Most of my family is in law enforcement and I just disagree with you here.

Dropped entirely? Probably not. Reduced to something smaller like disorderly conduct and trespassing? More likely.

The criminal justice system favors the rich, and since domestic cases often never see trial, there's a pretty good chance they are dropped but not likely due to his innocence.

You know, I actually, ignorantly assumed that he didn't have much money these days.

I know man, it sucks to imagine them getting dropped or reduced. But this cat has millions and what happens is they get good lawyers and they get off the hook.


Either dropped or reduced with some community service.


Plus, all of the sudden the female can't afford that huge home and nice car in the driveway. So she bails him out with his money. Rinse and repeat.

Why is anyone assuming he doesn't?

When Gene prematurely re-upped Mike Thomas' contract with the Jaguars he received 9 million guaranteed. 

 

It's certainly possible he squandered that money, but it's more likely there's still a couple million in the bank, IMO. 

However  -  the guy is clearly an idiot. I don't want to underestimate his ability to screw up a good thing.

I'll have to find some articles and ask vic's where Gene's philosophy was discussed.. There was emphasis on acquiring players with strong character backgrounds and also kids from small schools. Rashad Jennings was his greatest accomplishment in that way
