Chuck Barris, creator and host of the 'Gong Show,' dead at 87
 

Chuck Barris, whose game show empire included "The Dating Game," ''The Newlywed Game" and that infamous factory of cheese, "The Gong Show," has died. He was 87.

I just can't imagine Chuck Barris as 87 years old. Man, game shows used to be so fun. Hollywood Squares, Match Game, The Gong Show...just good fun.

I hated those game shows...but my grandparents insisted on making us watch them.
