The problem is when was the last time a SS was taken at 5? Now I have no problem with this or Ramsey drafted.


Just worry at 5 is he elite.

I honestly think SS is the best position for him in this defense. I think with his elite athletic ability he could fly around as a box safety and make plays at the line of scrimmage. Could also drop him into coverage without him being a liability and could cover the TE if need be

Eric Berry was the last one. Not saying I want us to draft Ramsey but if we did I hope they play him at SS

Even if we put him at SS, who cares if we pick him at 5? If he's one of the best SS in the league then no one should care that we took him at 5, especially if he's far and away the best player. He would also provide insurance for Gipson.

Agreed. Honestly can put him anywhere in the secondary. His versatility is my favorite part of his game. What I don't like is the lack of production in college and the 'ehh' tape he's got.
