After watching this Pro Day is anyone else interested to see what it would take to get up to pick #2 or #3....... WOW!!!

Maybe if we didn't have Gipson, but I can't see us trading up at all here.

I like Ramsey a lot, but he said he really wanted to play CB instead of FS. I don't think he's a shutdown corner, and I honestly think VH3 and Alexander are better at that position. We have Gipson now, so do we really need to draft him? It'd be nice to have him play FS and CB if needed, but he wouldn't see the play time you'd expect from a first rounder.

Myles Jack all the way.

I don't see a trade up, but I'd definitely consider Ramsey at #5. Myles Jack doesn't rush the passer which is our primary need, and I even wonder about Bosa a tad for the LEO spot. Actually I love Bosa as a traditional 4-3 RDE, but the LEO appears to require additional speed and "length," as Gus keeps mentioning, that I'm not sure Bosa has.

Of course he says he wants to play CB because there is no way someone is taking a S first overall. His agent isn't stupid.

Also, not drafting a stud because you are already set at the position currently isn't a good draft strategy. BAP!

What CB's go first overall?

Well, he seems to be sniffing for that #1 overall pick from his "hometown" team, and there are several mocks that have him there. Better chance of that happening if his suitor sees him as a CB rather than safety. Personally, I want him as safety.
It would be very interesting if both Ramsay and Jack or Jack and Bosa are available at pick 5. Although unlikely, it could happen if the Chargers take Buckner and the Cowboys take Wentz (if Goff goes to the Browns). Can't believe anything Jerry Jones says, especially about the draft. Plus, they coached Wentz at the Senior Bowl and Romo's days are very numbered.

Who do the Jags take in both these scenerios? The 2nd one would be easier for me since Bosa is not a true LEO while Jack would help fill 2 needs (OTTO and middle backer when Poz comes off the field). As far as Jack or Ramsay, that is tougher. If they believe Ramsay has the potential to be a shut-down corner it would be tough to pass on this despite Jack's versatility. If I was Caldwell, I would call the Ravens and see if they'd give us a 3rd rounder to switch places so they get Ramsay. Jags still get Jack and with the additional pick they have ammunition to move back into the end of the 1st round to get the best LEO available hopefully Spence). If the Ravens pass, Caldwell takes whoever is higher on his board.

Of course he is sniffing to be drafted number 1.  Everyone at the top is.  It wont happen though, the mocks mean nothing!

Lol, this is funny to me

I hear ya.

I don't care if he's a true LEO, a true detective, or a true believer.

Can he beat a left tackle and pressure a QB?   If the answer is yes, then draft 'em.

As long as he's not True Detective season 2.....

Saw true detective 1... Awesome show... Friends told me not to watch season 2
Considering how high Fowler went last season, anything's possible.

And there's this...

“I want them to draft me because I am the best player in this year’s draft and being from Tennessee, that’s icing on the cake.”

Not sure I'm on his wavelength, but BAP is BAP... IF he is...

He says "I'm a ball hawk. Watch the tape."

Hey Jalen, you're very athletic and physically gifted, and have great potential, but the tape is somewhat boring and 3 picks in 3 years doesn't help your case there.
I wouldnt take Ramsey at 5. Reason being this he is the exact same as Alexander except Alexander plays the receiver. Ramsey plays the ball he just cant catch.

Oh, boy.

I think you are going to be eating the hell out of these words by December.

Fowler was a highest rated edge rusher in a deep pass rushing class that can also drop into coverage.  Thats a little different than a DB

He dropped at least 8 ints. And dont give me ball machine. I can catch passes from a machine.

Alexander is by far better. And once again not saying Ramsey isnt a first rounder. Just not top 5. All Hype.

Yeah. I get it. You don't buy the hype. I think he may not live up to the hype, but he'll prove you wrong about your over the top "can't catch" proclamations.  Your hate is just as ridiculous as ESPN's hype.
