LOL awful, I like Rankins but he makes no sense for us, and other picks suck too
Rankins is a good prospect, but I think Jack is a better pick and fits a way bigger need.

It's not that bad other than Sterling Sheppard in the first.
Titans going Buckner at 1, and Jags going Rankins at 5.... no.

I don't see Jack falling out of the top 8, Tunsil falling out of the top 5, Buckner going 1st overall and Rankins being the Jags selection considering that DT is probably the deepest position on the team now. And that's just looking at the first 10 selections.
Yeah, definitely more like his own personal big board than a mock draft.
Even if we need a DT(which we don't) Rankins would be a bad pick. He's a great player but in a class this deep its possible to get a 1st round DT in the 2nd or 3rd.
Rankins over Jack may have piqued my interest before free agency, but....... nah.

it might be a deep class but rankins is still a good chunk better than the other 3techs. If the top 4 were gone and we didnt sign malik hed be a fantastic pick.
I really think they were trying to be different. At least thats what I hope
