Quote:I think Lawson won't go that early. I see him falling somewhere between 8-15. Could drop lower with the flag on his shoulder.

Vh3 has been regarded as the top pure CB for quite a while now. Nearly everyone has had him in the top ten for almost a year.

A great cover corner at #5 isn't a bad idea. If anything it might be considered a reach by ESPN by a spot or two but I believe it would be good value.

Lawson that early would be considered a bigger reach. There will be pass rushers available for us without forcing it.

We were the only team to flag his shoulder for a medical recheck, so I doubt it has much impact on his draft position.
Quote:When will some people realize that even a bad secondary looks great with a pass rush. If they draft a cornerback they are completely out of their minds. If they were building for the future maybe but this staff has to win NOW!

Are it does not matter to Bradley. In this case trade back or pick Shaq. By the way go pass rusher in the second to. We are set in the secondary unless major injury.
We are getting Fowler, Marks, M.Jackson, the pass rush is already improved, we dont need to force draft a pass rusher in the 1st, we need to go best player available, there is still 6 other rounds

In this situation, 1 is all you need. Maybe it's a strategic move by Caldwell anyway.
In terms of need

1. Jack

2. Bosa

3. Vh3

4. Ramsey

5. Tunsil

In terms of player potential

1. Jack

2. Ramsey

3. Vh3

4. Tunsil

5. Bosa

For me, Jack and vh3 are the best combinations of talent and getting a player that improves the team significantly.
It's Jack, Bosa, or VH3 for me. The two guys I absolutely don't want the Jags drafting are Ramsey or Tunsil.

No qbs in round 2 that will help the browns win now.
Anybody opposed to taking Floyd if Jack isn't there? Or would you need to move back to value the pick? I see an Aldon Smith type playstyle with him. Too high for him at #5? I'm all for Jack still; but it's no guarantee he'll be there.

GO JAGS!!

If all the first round QB fall to the 2nd round they do.

Not at 5.

Floyd will be in the 20's
If the big 4 are gone (Tunsil, Ramsey, Bosa, Jack), the Jags trade with the Eagles so they may jump past the 49ers to pick a QB.  Jags get Pick #8, Eagles 2nd Round, 4th Round.

At #8 we still can get Lawson, Spence or VH3.  And still have 2 low picks in round 2

I can also see this happening. It would be a tough call on which of the 3 players to take at pick 8. Spence has the highest ceiling, but is by far the highest risk. Jaguars are finally looking good and the last thing they need is to have their 1st rounder turn out like Blackmon. For that reason, I'd go Lawson or Hargreaves. They would then have the flexibility to trade back up into the first round if Spence drops due to his issues. Taking him with this pick would not be nearly as risky as taking him with the 8th pick in the draft and the high upside is still there.

I'm scared to pick Spence. I'd go Hargreaves.
