We rarely hear about the good deeds of people anymore.  Be they police officers, teachers, doctors, lawyers, among many other professions.  Instead we always hear about the bad ones.  Because no news sells like bad news.  It's a sad state that we're more interested in hearing about the bad, than the good.  Maybe something like this shouldn't be newsworthy.  Someone just doing their job.  But ever once in a while, I think there need to be stories like this told, because it reminds us that the people in these professions are good too.  Especially when we hear so much about the bad ones.

Jeeze, Tiger has really gone off the rails hasn't he?

You would be surprised at how often these things actually happen.

Not really.  There's a lot of good that people do.  Most of it will never make your local news.  I just think it's good to be reminded about it once in a while, especially with how bad things sometimes seem.
Amazing story, and amazing work.
