Did this last year, something a little different to see how you feel these prospects compare to others of years past.
NFL prospect comparison game. Name 2 prospects to come out, the next person answers who they feel is the better prospect and then that person names 2 more and so on. You can explain your reason on why you think one prospect is better than the other if you want or you can just choose and say the next 2 prospects. The players can be from any draft you choose
Here was last years

Shaq Lawson vs Vic Beasley
Go!
Beasley pretty easily.
I nominate VH3 vs Joe Haden.
Myles Jack vs. Luke Kuechley.

Haden
Jalen Ramsey v Patrick Peterson
Quote:Myles Jack vs. Luke Kuechley.
Kuechly. Much better tackler.
Quote:Haden
Jalen Ramsey v Patrick Peterson
Vh3 is the more talented player coming out of college. Better numbers in the drills too.
Ramsey vs Peterson isnt really a good one because Peterson was a guaranteed corner and Ramsey should really play safety to maximize his potential.
Quote:Kuechly. Much better tackler.
Idk if you are or not but keep in mind this is supposed to be comparisons of then as prospects coming out of college, throwing what we know of them in the NFL aside.

Easily Peterson for me. Was a shut down corner coming out as well as an elite return man punts and kicks in college.
Wentz vs. Flacco
Quote:Easily Peterson for me. Was a shut down corner coming out as well as an elite return man punts and kicks in college.
Wentz vs. Flacco
Tough one, I don't think Wentz has the pure arm talent that Flacco had but he's probably a more polished prospect.

But is Flacco elite???

I know how this is supposed to work. Why would you assume that I didn't? -_______-
Luke was far better as a tackler coming out of BC than Jack is now.

I would say Flacco too
I got a good one JJ Watt vs Joey Bosa
remember we are talking about coming out of college, JJ Watt never had double digit sacks in college and only played DL 2 years, but he rated off the charts athletically, I was one of the people who wanted JJ Watt that draft, it was him or Andy Dalton for me, but we traded up for Gabbert.
Oof, that's a tough one. I think if Watt had played DE his entire college career, he'd have cracked double-digits in sacks his junior year. I think I'll go JJ because his raw potential vs. the almost-peaked Bosa.
Here's a fun one: Aaron Curry vs Myles Jack

I remember reading that Watt was good at a lot of things but not great at anything. I remember thinking that fit in with Gene's base hit philosophy. Boy was I (and that spring report) wrong about Watt.

Curry. He was the safest pick in a decade, lol.
Eric Berry vs. Jalen Ramsey

Eric Berry.
Ezekiel Elliot vs. Todd Gurley

Gurley.
How about TJ Yeldon vs Derek Henry.

I'll gladly let someone else offer their input on this comparison. Related to this though, I came across a TJ Yeldon comparison earlier today which surprised me. Lance Zierlein compared Yeldon to another SEC player, Arkansas RB Jonathan Williams.
