It's amazing that a few years back, the Browns actually had a good defense being built. Watching the Browns continually plummet makes you appreciate Khan and Caldwell. The Browns named a lawyer as GM, right?
Quote:I can't help but think that Andy Reid could get him right, just like he redirected Vick a few years back. I don't think Griffin could start in KC right away though, but that might be a good thing.
I could see that, but I don't think Andy Reid helps a QB as much he helps RBs. seems like he just makes them efficient, RG3 is efficient but I like Jackson and Arians style of making a qb aggressive vs conservative which is the part of RG3s game that has regressed the most.

Sashi Brown isn't the GM. It basically is a committee so we shall see how that organizational chart works out.
They made him a special plate for his Reserved space:
Here is the thing though. RG3 gets all the credit. But just like mike made johnny. Wright made RG3 better then he is.

or maybe they just are good college QBs
Griffin was a tremendous college talent with seemingly endless upside.
The Redskins probably couldn't have handled him worse if they tried to.
He's still got a ton of upside if the Browns can be patient and use him correctly. There's a lot to "undo," and a lot to be done that was never done in Washington.
As far as athleticism, he was nearly on par with Vick coming into the league. And IMO, more potential.

Good points.
Unfortunately for RG3 the Browns are so devoid of talent that I don't think he'll be able to fix those things. A good QB can make everyone around him seem better but I don't think RG3 can do that for the Browns. They are looking at 0-3 wins, especially in the division they are in.
On Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN appeared on the Ross Tucker Podcast to talk about the top picks in the 2016 NFL Draft and he mentioned that the Browns will not draft a QB but rather trade down for the highest bid seeking the QB that the Rams don't draft (which is most likely Wentz). The problem is he said earlier that after the Browns had signed RG3 that a QB was still their intention with the 2nd overall pick...
Either way, the likelihood that two QBs will be taken 1 & 2 are very high... leaving the Chargers & Cowboys as the only teams the Jaguars have to worry about taking the guy highest on their boards...
whom that guy is... is a huge debate..

IMO RG3 will be the Browns starting QB, they have way too many needs if they can't trade down they will draft the highest non-qb on their board.
At least we aren't the Browns.
