Hall of Fame sportscaster, MLB catcher Joe Garagiola dead at 90
 

Joe Garagiola, a Major League Baseball legend who successfully moved from the field to the broadcast booth, has died at the age of 90, the Arizona Diamondbacks announced Wednesday. The cause of his death was unclear.

RIP Joe!    I looked forward to the MLB of the Week when Joe Garagiola was one of the announcers.

Agreed.  He was the voice of baseball for me as a kid.  He and Tony Kubek were a great tandem. 
IIRC, Joe Garagiola and Yogi Berra grew up together in the same neighborhood in St. Louis and were childhood friends.
