I think Cris Carter, Andre Reed, Lynn Swann, and Jimmy Smith should have been on this list, or at least in the discussion. No dispute about #1 though.

Lance Alworth, Wes Welker, Randy Moss

Please offer an intelligent rebuttal instead of "LOL" next time.

I won't do that to something as ridiculous as that, sorry.

Anyway, thanks for the laugh.

Dunno about putting Jimmy up there. Top 15, probably, but there's been a lot of good receivers before and after him

To me Jerry Rice will always be the best WR of all time.   I do have other favorites for other reasons though.  When it came to the best reliable WR on 3rd down for the jump ball nobody did it better than Art Monk.  Always high on the sidelines, yet he always found a way to get the ball & have both feet in bounds, simply amazing.   The pure speed of Randy Moss, if only he had better discipline throughout his career the numbers would probably be impossible to beat.

The toughness of Michael Irvin to go for it over the middle knowing he was going to get hit, and yet making the catch.

The results that TO would produce despite the world hating the man, and the chasois he would cause to be fair.  It did make you want to have your popcorn ready though.  He was like an evil wrestler that you simply loved to hate.

The pure talent of Calvin Johnson MegaTron such a waste in Detroit & to end his career so soon was such a let down for football fans.  He really showed promise.

Two of my favorite WRs happen to be on the Jaguars (sure I'm bias) but honestly the toughness of Allen Hurns to play thru injury to not be drafted & fight always fighting for a starting role & even a decent contract to this day.

The pure jump & hands of Allen Robinson, to have such a fantastic 2nd year.. he shows great promise.... we are truly blessed to see these two on the same team with Blake Bortles throwing it up to them.

All three are getting better, and 2016 is going to be amazing to watch!

JR Soward waves from the DJ booth.
No Flipper Anderson?

In all seriousness, that's a good list.

I agree with you to some extent.  Lynn Swann was an awesome receiver (actually one of my all time favorite players), but I don't think he could have done it without John Stallworth.  The same about Jimmy Smith.  I don't think that he would have been the star that he was without Keenan McCardell.

The thing about these "greatest of all time" things is the way the game has changed/evolved over the years.

As far as the video goes, I don't think that I could dispute Rice as being the best ever at the position.
Why isn't OBJ up there?

Bc it's not an espn article
The video list is a great list. For those of you thinking Jimmy belongs up there,.. consider Marvin Harrison is #9. Also, Jimmy dominated the sideline and after the catch sought the best route to the sideline where he could pick up a few more yards than get out of bounds. Unfortuantely this kept his TD count down and this in turn keeps him well out of the top 10. As for Rankings, I place Jimmy right around the same spot as you might place Isaac Bruce, and somewhere squarely ahead of Eric Moulds. You might note that Bruce and Moulds were #2s behind Torry Holt and Andre Reed respectively, which is basically saying that Jimmy ranks right about on par with the league's best ever #2 WRs.

Rice admitted he used stickum. So based on that. No not best all time.
WoW, source.. ? I am shocked that he admitted to it.
