I'd consider trading down and picking him if Myles Jack and Ramsey are off the board.
They are obviously doing all of their homework on the pass rushers available in this draft. If Caldwell sees Lawson's flaws as fixable, he may very well be in play if Jack/Bosa are off the board.
He has the highest ceiling of the pass rushers, if he wants to be great and put the work in he can be. Bosa is a little more refined now but in a couple years Lawson has the potential to be the much better player imo.
Yeah I don't get why more people don't have Lawson on the same tier as Buckner/VH3/Stanley etc. He's pretty darn good right now and has loads of upside on top of that.
Bosa is a better overall player, but for many schemes Lawson is going to have more impact...ours included I think. I'd be just fine if Ramsey and Jack are gone if Lawson is the pick, even if Bosa is still on the board.
Watched a bit of him. Has some good moves but seems very slow off the snap to me. Probably only take him in a trade down situation.

I'd consider taking him right at 5 if Ramsey and Jack were off the board, especially if I couldn't trade down a couple of spots.
Agreed with his analysis. He's got some great moves and is pretty quick and athletic for his size.
The negative is "The one thing he didn't always show is the one thing most edge guys really need: the ability to win around the corner consistently."
I think him cutting about 15 lbs. (to around 255), getting better training/conditioning, and some better coaching can help a lot here.

That's the intriguing part of his game, as his 3 cone showed he
should be able to bend the edge, so Stephen was thinking the reason why he didn't do it consistently was because of his getoff.
