If you are actually drafting BAP, it's really, really unlikely that you'd come away with four positions of need with your first four picks. 

 

A higher rated player of less need would be sitting there at one of those picks and you'd be obliged to take him if you are not considering "need" in the draft.

I need to re-word my post.

In particular, Coughlin definitely at least considers need. I recall him drafting a DT in the 6th round once and he said something to the effect that for the first time with the pick he made a straight out BAP pick. In other words, he rarely does that.
