I mean i judge a player by his his play and i know the man wouldn't lay a decent hit if God said to; but how is he not the best CB this yr.  Ppl say VH3 got beat and praise ramsey, when he looked lost searching for the ball at times; but hey, he's versatile.

I'm a VERY proud Jags fan but fortunately I "Football," so there's always that.

FWIW
Clemson LB BJ Goodson is one to add. Looks like a third day guy.

Quote:Williams Jackson visiting with Jags today.
Yes plz I want him in the 2nd

And that VH3 rumor is bull, dont believe every crap you see on twitter

I don't hate him at all. I just don't want him at 5. It's a reach.

Highly doubt Jackson makes it to the 2nd round. He honesty might be the best corner in the draft. I'm assuming we may select him in a trade down scenario or trade up into mid 20's

He is a guy I would be willing to go up and get, if my other 2nd round targets start to go off the board
I'm buying the WJ3 to Dolphins at 13 hype pretty hard. Perfect fit/need/value there and they have shown a lot of interest in him.

Per Rotoworld:

Quote:B.J. Goodson - LB - Tigers

Clemson LB B.J. Goodson visited the Jaguars, according to Aaron Wilson.

Goodson is one of the more intriguing third day linebackers in this class. He doesn't receive the same attention as edge rusher Shaq Lawson and Kevin Dodd, but Goodson is a much better athlete than many of his peers at the position and possesses the aggression teams want at the position. He could be drafted as early as the fourth round. The Jaguars are in need of a new middle linebacker.

I am confused why would you go for a 2nd visit to west Coast to see myles jack if his injury 2nd look wasnt great?

Is it a smoke screen, or are both GM Dave Caldwell & HC Gus Bradley all in on Myles Jack despite everything?

Not sure this is the best place to put it, but:

<a class="" href='https://twitter.com/SiriusXMNFL'>SiriusXM NFL Radio ‏@SiriusXMNFL </a> <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/SiriusXMNFL/status/722111605165727744' title="1:16 PM - 18 Apr 2016">59s60 seconds ago</a><a class="" href='https://twitter.com/search?q=place%3A01a9a39529b27f36'><span>Manhattan, NY</a></span>

<p class="">DE <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/DeForestBuckner'>@DeForestBuckner</a>: Teams I visited showed strong interest. <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Chargers?src=hash'>#Chargers</a>, <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Cowboys?src=hash'>#Cowboys</a>, <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Jaguars?src=hash'>#Jaguars</a>, & <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Titans?src=hash'>#Titans</a>. Comfortable in 3-4 or 4-3 defense.

I wouldn't be opposed to Goodson in the 4th and being open to the top players in this draft, Buckner, Bosa, Jack, and Ramsey/VH3, I think they could all fit here no matter who's picked.  With Fowler and Jackson being versatile and able to play different spots on the DL, even Buckner could help: DEs Fowler, Jackson/ InteriorL Marks/Odrick, Buckner.  Basically, any lineup on D has potential to work with any of the top players mentioned and although everyone has a Fav. player, I can live with whomever is picked.

Joey Bosa or Jalen Ramsey at #5, depending on which you take CB Eli Apple/Mackensie Alexander or RE Noah Spence/LE Jonathan Bullard in the 2nd round?

I would be happy if they traded down and got an extra first round pick next year, extra 2nd round pick this year & possibly next year.

Then draft CB Vernon Hargreaves III or best corner /pass rusher available & draft Alabama LE Hand next year (Odrick could play it this year with Marks & Jackson on the inside and Fowler at LEO) along with Noah Spence or somebody taken in the 2nd to help Fowler out.. or OLB and move Skuta to help Fowler.

Quote:Jacksonville University WR Andy Jones worked out for the Jaguars at their local prospect day.

The ever-plugged-in Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle was first on this one. Jones might not be on your draft radar -- indeed, we wouldn't blame you if Jacksonville University is a new entity to you altogether -- but he has some lovely athletic testing results to his name. During the university Pro Day, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.50 seconds. Much more impressive than that respectable mark, though, was his vertical jump. He defied gravity to the tune of a Jalen Ramsey-esque 41 1/2 inches. In his career with the Dolphins, the 6-foot-1, 211-pound Jones caught 144 passes for 2,120 yards and 17 touchdowns. Per Wilson, he has an official visit to the Cardinals under his belt. Undrafted free agency likely awaits him once the draft dust has settled.
