More name than game at this point, no thanks.
Nah
Would be awesome, if it was 2007

Karlos Dansby has always been a name I am familiar with. Without watching him extensively, I always remembered his name and thought he was in the class of great OLBs in a 4-3 scheme.

I looked up his career stats, and WOW he has had some great years but didn't get the media attention he deserved.. I thought to myself, his stats remind me a lot of Daryl Smith and Mike Peterson.

I then looked up Dansby on Pro-Football Reference (Great website BTW) and what do you know, first person his stats compares to over the course of his career........... Mike Peterson.

We already have an old middle linebacker.

Starting a thread just to start one..... Love it
Dansby doesn't fit the mold for anything the Jaguars have done the past few years under Caldwell.

Good player.  Just not a guy the team is going to make a priority of pursuing because of his age.

Hence kick the tires.

It was a terrible idea, just move on.

They're flat.
OP should take a break for the day.

34= Age and Defensive Scheme he's by far the most accustomed to in his long NFL career.
How about we kick this idea to the trash heap instead?
