Lol. Im gonna start a thread, 6 wins is the magic number. Improvement
1 is the loneliest.

2 can be as bad as 1

It's the loneliest number since the number 1.

3000.  That's how many rushing yards I want us to have.  I want us to sign 9 Kevin Gogans along the offensive line.  Maul the hell out of our opponents.  Dive at the back of their knees.  Chop block.  Bite, kick, punch, eye gouge them under the piles.  And just run the ball down their throats play after play after play.  Couple that with the occasional play action pass deep to Allen Robinson.

50

As in 50 sacks next season

29 TD 12 INT

If they manage to have a good to great running game, I could see Bortles INT's decreasing quite a bit. I also have hope that in year 4, and after the work he's put in, we'll see a more efficient, smarter QB.

I also am holding out hope that those last two games last season with Marrone at the helm will continue this year. Blake looked in control and comfortable.

My Magic 8 Ball says "It's Highly Unlikely".

Last year I felt like an INT was coming every time he threw the ball. So how about less than 14

5 or under lol

hahahahahahahahahaha

I'll eat my hat if Bortles starts more than 5 games and has less than 5 INTs

I'd agree with you if it were October 2016.  Now -  I feel that Marrone/Hackett have a plan to mitigate Bortles' mistakes.

He threw 3 interceptions in his last 6 games under Hackett.  Zero INTs under Marrone.

I'm as skeptical of Bortles as most fans, but I think that INT percentage will shrink.

(Note the jump in completion % also under Marrone  -- not a coincidence IMO)

I feel ya. I voted 10 or less. I think his total INTs will be around the 10 marker. Actually. Which is a big improvement.

I was just being over reactive about the 5 or less.

In a 5-6 game span, he could, in theory, throw for 5 or less....

but 5 or less in 16 is laughable.

I think we are going RB in round 1 or 2, and Blake will have a Garrard/Alex Smith type role. Do enough, but not too much. Rely on our defense and ground game heavily.  Until he can master his mechanics he will need a "pitch count", or he may revert to old mechanics or risk more fatigue/injury.

I agree with this idea.

IDK if they'll do it. Or if Blake can relegate himself from gunslinger mentality to game manager mentality.

But I don't think Bortles should throw more than 30 times a game.

I would say 35 time should be the limit in some games which wouldn't be a bad thing because all the Young quarterback go to the same type of maturation process. Just think of QB's like Big Ben, Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan, Marcus Mariota, Russell Wilson, Dak Prescott and Jameis Winston had function in the m same type of offense during their young careers as well.

Doug Marrone's offenses in Buffalo tended to be fairly conservative, so unless he changes approach here in Jacksonville, that should allow Blake's INT count to fall and his pass completion percentage to increase because he will be in a more conservative offense. As for his TD count that should remain fairly similar. For me, I would his stat line something will be like this: 4000 passing yards, 24 TDs, 12 INTs, while completing around 62 PCT of his passes.
