Jags could end up with ;

# 12 Leonard Fournette ( I think Carolina takes another player and he drops to #12 ). If not we should try to trade # 12 for # 20 and # 52. At # 20 we can get OJ Howard, David Njoku, Forrest Lamp or Cam Robinson.

# 33 A great player always drops to this slot at the top of Round # 2. Take Cam Robinson or Forrest Lamp if they drop and one becomes our RG. If not there take David Njoku is available.

# 35 If Robinson or Lamp don't drop to # 33 then you take Dan Feeney as the RG here. If Leonard Fournette is not around to pick at # 12 you take Alvin Kamara here.

# 68 Sidney Jones - injury drops him to # 68 and this first round talent will sit our his first year.

# 88 We trade #108 & #110 for #88 and take DT Larry Ogunobi

Result is we fill our needs at RB, RG,TE, Great CB talent for future years and really good looking DT and still have four other Draft Picks for other needs/depth.
Fournette aint going past Carolina.

They may go OT or DE rather than RB. Also could go with Cook at RB.
Still think we draf D 1st round.

You trade with them and grab a once in a generation player in Garrett that is for sure.    Oh nevermind we trade at 4 for there rest?  No. Cleveland would never do that.   They didn't aquire all those extra picks to get rid of them.

Likely not if Thomas and Allen are off the board.

Fournette at 12 is a dream because you have to be asleep to believe it.

I like that when you google Cam Robinson, his default photo is his mugshot. The charges were dropped but he was initially charged with possession of a stolen gun and possession of marijuana. Could be trouble, but it could also make his draft stock slide enough to get him in the top of the 2nd.

My dream would be trade back and somehow end up with Lamp and Feeney. The middle of our offensive line would be savage A F.
#12 - OJ Howard

#20 - Lamp or McCaffery

# 33 - Quincy Wilson

# 35 - Mixon or Dion Dawkins (depending on #20 pick)

# 68 - Caleb Brantley

#108 - Nathan Peterman

#110 - Trey Hendrickson

How did we get pick 12 and 20?

I don't remember the history of the 33rd pick, but since they split up the draft so the 33rd pick is the first pick of the second night, it seems like the 33rd pick would be really good trade bait.   All those teams spending an entire night re-setting their draft boards, salivating over someone who dropped out of the 1st round.

I'm using the scenario from the opening post regarding a trade with the Browns.

The OP's post was one or the other, not both.
It'd be foolish not to take this.  I don't think Fournette is there at 12, but we still have great options there with Lamp, Howard, Conley, or McCaffery.  Probably at least 2 of those guys will be there.

I agree that even if Fournette doesn't drop to # 12 it still positions the Jags to make some good decisions and gives us # 33. This is the best way to solve the OL and get a quality TE & RB.

I agree and it obviously allows the Jags to see what position need we solved with the first pick and to evaluated overnight who dropped unexpectedly to #33. They can also better predict the choice by someone at #34 before they pick again at #35.
If we don't get fournette at 4 I think he drops. Teams will wonder why he dropped similar to Myles jack. Then we get him at 12. I think Carolina goes DL.

Oh...I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention. I didn't see the #20 was meant as a trade down from #12 while adding the #52.

At same deal, but instead of Howard at #12 I'll take Bucky Hodges at #52.

Carolina is all about running the football. They have to be drooling at the thought of possibly getting Fournette.
