Does anyone oppose of him in round 2? Every big board and mock I've seen now has him going outside of round 1.

Get him back down into the 280 range and play DE. I'm all in favor of him in the 2nd with Myles Jack or Ramsey in 1.

We have our FS now, so Karl Joesph is unlikely in round 2.
I'd love it, but his personality does scare me a little
Robert Nkemdechi is a monster. His character would have to be on a Johnny Manziel level for him to fall out of the top 10 IMO.

You could argue it's worse.

He's not even close to top 10 bc of character.
Nkemdiche or Ryan Kelly in the secondround would be great...but unlikely to happen.

Has Robert battered any women while on the sauce?
Maybe if he would have come in and nailed the combine interviews and stuff, but all he did was look even worse if that was possible.

He's still the prospect in this draft with the highest floor, about third level to be exact, but I'd pass easily at 38.

I'd have to pass since there will be other very solid choices with not near the risk. Jaguars are finally at the point where they will be a serious playoff contender, but they can't afford to totally blow a 2nd round pick which is a possibility with Nkemdiche.

Hard pass.

If he's available in the 2nd, no one will care we didn't get Vernon

Two completely different positions

If Caldwell thinks he can trust nkemdiche, and he's there at 38. You draft him and then you leave the war room to go play the lottery.
I think Nkemdiche becoming a stud is just as likely as him walking away from football in 2-3 years. Mid-round gamble? Yes. Early draft pick? No.

Someone on here made a good point about Nkemdiche a while ago. His brother is even more of head case and will most likely be joint to hip with him.

He's a monster when he wants to be. He's lazy.

Not to mention,  the quality and depth of the 2016 DT class provides teams with many more viable options at the position in the first few round than in a typical draft.

That's my biggest concern. He self admitted he took plays off along with his other issues. Why would I want to use a 1st or 2nd round pick on a player like that?

I completely agree, two different positions. Down the road, you have a guy who replaces odrick and provides better rush on that side. Playing Vernon and fowler at the same time would mean losing a lb on the field. I meant it from a scheme standpoint.
