Draft Aguayo and install a double headed kicking team. Teams won't know what to do!
This has been a surprisingly entertaining thread.
Quote:Who was listening to 1010xl this morning lol

I just happened to be listening at the time and that by far is the dumbest thing I have ever heard a so called Jag fan say (and I have seen some doozies on here) that the team should do, and he was dead serious while he was trying to explain himself.

At first I thought he had to be kidding, he just had to be kidding, but he wasn't.

Neither will Jag's fans.
Imagine if they kicked the ball at the SAME time!  It'd go twice as far.  Could basically kick a FG at any spot from the field. :teehee:

Quote:I really am tired of the Myers hate on here. yes, he missed more extra points than anyone else (7), but there were several kickers close to that, 71 extra points were missed last year in all, the most since 1977. Myers was also 26-30 on Field goal attempts, I think we all remember 2 of those misses from 50+, the one really bad shank from like 27, and I don't recall the other one off the top of my head. The kid will be fine. Dave will bring in a camp leg for competition, but it would shock me if a kicker was drafted.
24-of-38 is 3.125% of the starting kickers in the NFL. He accounted for 9.859% of the missed PATs in the league last year.

Tell me again about how he's NFL caliber. I don't advocate drafting any kicker before round six, and even then a kicker should be considered a luxury pick, but 24-of-38 is a head case and a liability for a team with playoff goals.
Is 24-of-38 his college stats? Honestly I couldn't care less about college stats. 26-30 FG, 32-39 XP, Those are Myers stats last year. 26-30 is 86.7% made, good for a tie for 12th in the league for field goal percentage. Sounds pretty darn good for a rookie!
