Quote:Lawson and Dodd, I like both
This would be nice and if Dodd is gone by our second pick, Bullard would be just fine too.

Quote:Among those rarely mentioned maybe Leonard Floyd?
Floyd is good but def needs to bulk up. Kid has a motor though. Maybe if there is a QB still on the board at 5 and we trade down Floyd would be a good pick up in the teens, but then again Dodd could be there too.

Quote:Shaq Lawson would be my sleeper pick at 5 if for some reason Bosa, Jack and Ramsay are off the board. He might even be taken ahead of Ramsay due to Gipson and Prince being signed.
I like this too, but what I like the most is all the depth this year on the D-Line (In the draft). Your open to a lot of options that fit the Jags and even trading down will net us a good D-line prospect.

Lawson could be that guy, he's not perfect but he flashes more than Bosa does on tape.

I wouldn't be shocked if Lawson is drafted before Bosa, by us or otherwise.

One name I haven't seen mentioned with our 2nd rounder is Artie Burns. He is a little raw after playing in an awful scheme and receiving even worse coaching while at Miami (Miami fans know the pain) but this kid has all the physical tools. He has the size/speed combo you want in a true #1 CB. After 1-2 years of NFL coaching, I think this kid can be an elite NFL corner. With the Prince signing, Burns wouldn't be forced to be a starter but would still receive enough playing time to develop. When Prince leaves after next year, Burns slides into our #2 CB (Colvin in the slot) and eventually becomes the #1 CB we have been lacking.

Is there that big of a difference between Floyd and McAllister?

Lawson. With a name like "Shaq", I am sure he has no issue with confidence.
