Quote:I don't really remember it that way, but I didn't go pouring over old posts like you must have, since you claim it was everyone that took that position. The way I remember it was that people thought the team should have a real shot at .500 against a schedule including two games against Andrew Luck. As it turns out the Jaguars didn't have to face the big dog in the division and still came up way short of what people thought should be reasonable.

Ugh, you are right. The truth is if we were just really only a couple of plays here and there away from being a playoff team then it would mean we played the toughest division in the NFL, we didn't, a true playoff caliber team would have absolutely destroyed the teams in our division and it would have never been in question, I do think the things holding us back have been mostly addressed now the season will tell if the biggest piece is right or if we need to upgrade as well

One could argue it the other way too though, a play or 2 here or there in our games we won has us at 2-14 thru 4-12. So, in hindsight the schedule was "a layup" and we fell way short. That is the reality of the season. We had a lot of blunders last year, some of that goes to talent on the field, and to the coaches. I am  optimistic regardless for the 2015 season this team is primed for a playoff push in 2016.

Brock Osweiler(sp) is an unknown, but I doubt he makes the Texans world beaters.

Andrew Luck was and may still be a hot mess.

Does anyone take Tennessee serious with Mularkey at HC?

We have a real shot to take the South if our talent develops on both sides of the ball, the other teams in the south are pretty average or just below that. I have faith.
