Edit: true story, one time we received a box of meat with a red sticker that said "not consumable for US prison system" on it. We ran out of food in the last 4 days of the patrol, only having frozen country fried steak and gravy for those 4 days, which I embraced.


Never was sure what they ended up cooking with the mystery meat, but midrats was questionable a few times that run.
