Sounding like it might be Kaepernick. Wonder what they'll give up for him.

This is total speculation on my part. But based on the Broncos picking last in each round they have a pick ( not counting Comp. picks starting in Round 3 ), a 2nd Round pick in 2016 is the most likely outcome.

Well, that was one name nobody guessed.
I still expect them to bring in another QB though.
Still could be one of the names already named earlier in this thread.
We'll see.

Sanchez = retaining of championship

He's started in Tampa, and was not bad.

I'm not sure Elway is done at the QB position...

The fans here want RG3.

I thought he was retired.
I just don't see him coming back.

Be careful what you wish for.

I would be shocked if the Broncos don't add another veteran QB in the coming weeks.
Related to that, the Broncos appear to have interest in Jets UFA Ryan Fitzpatrick but not at the QBs asking price:

I saw that too.
How much is Ryan F asking for his QB services?
I haven't been able to find that anywhere.
Obviously it is too much according to the teams that are interested in him.
He'll probably end up having to come down from his current asking price if he wants to play next year.
There's nothing wrong with asking for whatever you think you are worth though, even if teams think it is too much.

Quote:For a first round pick, they can have Chad HenneThat's not a terrible idea. I doubt Henne would get a first, but if the price were right, it wouldn't kill me to see him dealt. I like him right here where he is, but if he can help by being traded, so be it.

The following seems like speculation on the part of the writer but there's a good chance this is the mindset of Ryan Fitzpatrick and his agent Jimmy Sexton:
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-foot...-price-tag
The Broncos have had discussions with Fitz' representation, but according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Broncos are "currently unwilling to pay the salary" Fitzpatrick wants.
In other words, the long and short of it for Fitzpatrick is this: he wants to get <a class="" href='http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1123599/sam-bradford'>Sam Bradford</a> money (a.k.a. $18 million a year or somewhere in the range). But teams see him as successful in Gailey's system and, at 33 years old, a bridge quarterback at absolute best.
After seeing Kirk Cousins get the Franchise Tag placed on him by the Redskins, Sam Bradford's new contract with the Eagles, and the contract the Texans gave Brock Osweiler, Fitzpatrick's mindset is understandable. Unfortunately for Fitzpatrick, it doesn't look like any team is going to meet his contract request or come close to it.

I say they go with a seat warmer for the year, like anybody...maybe Sanchez and a rookie from the draft. Elway is likely looking forward to FA next year when Andrew Luck may be available. Why would Luck stay in Indy given Ryan Grigson's incompetence?

Can you just imagine how clots fans would be feeling if Luck were to leave and become Denver's starting QB, especially given the sad state of starting QBs available right now?
What a meltdown we would see by them.
There might even be some that "unfan" them.
I don't really see it happening though, but you never know what might happen between now and then.
