Oh great...we lost another starter!

Gene Smith could have picked him in the 6th round of the 2012 NFL draft, the same draft he picked Anger in the 3rd round.

Small rant, not really directed at you. Just in general.

I keep hearing "we drafted a punter over Russell Wilson"

Gene Smith is gone. 74 times Russell Wilson was passed up in the 2012 Draft. We drafted a QB 10th overall the year before. We have Bortles now. And now Anger is gone. It was a wasted draft, but it's over now. We all know the facts. No one involved is a Jaguar now. Now we have one of the best offenses in the league, 70 mill to spend (if we can) in FA, Fowler Jr. and top 5 pick coming in.


It's over. And I'm happier about the place we are in now

Hey man, you shouldn't take personally what people say about something you don't control. Gene Smith is the idiot that went and drafted him.

 I  can picture Gene Smith banging the table at the Jets Training Complex in N.J. lobbying for them to sign Bryan Anger. 

He out kicked his coverage for the last time.

Wonder what that dude sitting in section 242 is going to do now.  Every time Anger punted, he yelled "Nice Punt, Russell Wilson"

Guys, this is a sad day. Losing Anger costs us a real weapon.
