Yes we made the biggest splash with Jackson, but FA's that many ppl had us linked to are starting to get linked with other teams.
Irvin- Oakland
Jenkins- Giants
Osemele- Oakland
Mack- Atlanta or back to Cleveland
Sean Smith- Oakland rumored to be going after hard now that Jenkins is gone
Vernon- Now free to negotiate with anyone with the Giants viewing him as their #1 priority
No.
There are players left that can provide upgrades and we have the #5 pick in the draft.
Good things yet to come.
Not at all. We got Ivory and Jackson, I'm sure we'll get Vernon if they believe he's worth it.
I'm getting nervous... I only cared about getting Jackson if we got Vernon too. I really don't think we're getting Vernon.
Not exactly nervous but I admit I love Oakland FA campaign so far, if they land Osemele, Irvin and Smith that's massive.
Looking forward to see what we'll add too, love the Jackson signing, I like Ivory but I think for RB to succeed we need to improve the offensive line and I'm curious to see what will happen.
I'm getting skeptical we'll be able to land Vernon but I definitely hope so.

Your .gif game is on point in the last two days.
I will only be disappointed if they don't get anyone else but I believe the Jags will get at least one DB. I would like an LB too but they aren't many of those left. However the Jags could draft Myles Jack.
We got the top FA on the market and a top 3 RB on the market. This FA has already been a success. We aren't done even if we miss out on Vernon.
Now, if we wouldn't have landed Malik I'd be worried, but getting the top guy in FA makes everything else icing on the cake.

Jackson is not the top FA on the market, sorry to burst your bubble. He's a D Lineman that played good because of people around him. Will he play good here? I hope so, but he's not worth what he was paid.
Edit: I only cared about Jackson if we got Vernon with him, and it's pretty clear we're not getting him.

Every major media outlet i have seen has Jackson as the highest rated FA. Its okay. I know us jags fans arent accustomed to having nice things but that is true. We got the number 1 FA.

Are you basing this on your opinion, or did you bother to go out and look at how the FAs are ranked? Because if it's only your opinion, that explains why you're wrong. Go check the rankings. He is pretty much at or near the top of the lists I've seen.

what gives you that impression? Please, explain? Vernon, by all accounts is now the Jaguars top priority and have the cap to back it up.
Some of you are taking this way too seriously, also, over spending is not the way to go as well.

I don't care about rankings. The dude played well because of his surroundings. Period. I'd love to base it off rankings, but I'm not that guy. I'll save that for what's the site, walterfootball or something?

LOL... you talk about cap like it means something. You tell me what a guy is going to pick... the same contract with NYG (Largest market) vs the same contract with Jax... come on... it's like some of you just talk out of your rear end without logically thinking and just keep the blinders on.
Edit: I'm the guy that holds back overall opinion until I see something that's proven. If you think that's funny or hilarious or [BLEEP], not my problem.

Cool story bro.

If you think that Money is not the biggest thing on the players mind, your out of your mind. If JAX ponies up the cash, he will be a Jaguar. Prestige and team name is a joke and loyalty in professional sports is slim to none.

What's up Bruce Irvin. What's up Sean Smith. What's up Janoris Jenkins.
Oh... did I type that... I must be drunk.

Again, this is just your opinion.
Had he been ranked in the 20's and the Jags signed him, I'm sure rankings would have mattered to you, and you'd be howling that they could have signed someone who was more highly ranked.
He's coming to a situation where the defensive line has a considerable amount of talent. It's not like he's going somewhere where he's expected to carry the load.
