Removed for reasons of insanity.
So they basically replaced Vernon with Williams. Cheaper for sure. Older and not as good, which is kind of important. Vernon will likely net them a 3rd round compensatory pick, while Williams will not count against them in calculating compensatories because he was released. Unorthodox for sure though.

Unorthodox is a nice way to describe the recent offseasons of the Dolphins. 

 

And while im feeling salty about them.....62-7. Ah, I feel much better now. 

This morning on 1010XL, O'Halloran said that lifting the transitional tag actually hurts the Jaguars strategy in landing him.  They were confident that they could put a front loaded deal together that was significant enough to force Miami's hand.  With the tag removed, now they're competing with other teams.  That doesn't mean they can't still win a bidding war, but it just adds a new wrinkle to the process.  Should be interesting to see who does the best job of burning up the phone lines over the next few hours.
