This is so, so far from the worst I've heard of lately. Some of my personal favorites are the rare (but true) stories of someone looking for a better cell or wifi signal and walking off an upper-floor balcony as a result.

Certainly is plausible that there was an unhappy women involved here...but at least she's found happiness.
What did he have in the water? This would only happen if he had the actual adapter sitting on his chest. I think if he just had the phone and the wires, he'd be good.
