Speaking of getting off jocks... hypocrite much?

I didn't read the rest of the thread in its entirety and missed that discussion.

The point doesn't really change.  Branch isn't going to be cut when his contract is expiring.

Right, you cannot be cut if your contract expires.

Hilarious. +1

For the ones who are offended, yes, we all know its pathetic to beat up on women, but lets take the post for what it is, a joke..
I hope we dont go after this guy Vernon. I dont know, thats got FA bust written all over it, plus we would have to significantly over pay for a guy who's not an elite pass rusher. Just a good pass rusher who happens to be young. If your going to overpay for a DE, you might as well get an established guy in there, someone like Mario Williams and get as much as you can from him for a couple of seasons or just draft another one early on.

1. Mack

2. Irvin

3. Gipson/ Weddle

Guys Id go after. I really am not thrilled about giving Vernon 15 million a year. For me, not worth it. I dont like it at all.

#Jaguars cut DE Chris Clemons and LG Zane Beadles. Frees up $9.5M in cap space.

I figured they wanted to do this last year but Fowler Jr.'s injury took their ability to do that away.  He had flashes like the FG block at the start of the season but I guess his age simply caught up to him.

If he is picked up by another team I am sure he will still do good getting a few sacks.
Neither move comes as a surprise. The cuts will collectively save the Jaguars $25.5 million against the salary cap over the next three seasons.

I suspect they will spend a lot of money in FA on Wed!
