It's available for early access for EA Access members. So far it's pretty good. A brand new story, improves upon almost all gameplay aspects of the previous games.
Also, if you happen to play it, when you first meet Kesh, the voice does not match the body lol
All the reviews seem to be trashing it, im wary of buying it after fallout 4 being such a let down for me

It's alright so far, granted I'm like an hour and a half into it. Has all the standard Bioware stuff.
I'll agree on FO4. Not that it was a bad game in its own right, but the build up and hype had me expecting so much more.

Worth buying?
Fully agree, I had hyped it so much in my own head from all the build up and then it was just average. My issue with it was that it was worse than Fallout 3/ New Vegas. If they had just kept all the best bits of those games and added the shelter creation and a few other bits I would have been happy.
Thats why I'm afraid to buy this version of Mass Effect

Haven't played enough to say yes or no on buying it yet. I plan to out some time into it tonight/tomorrow
I started playing Mass Effect 2 earlier this month, I think i'll finish that and 3 first. I probably dont have to story wise, but I bought them forever ago and may as well finish them before the new game since i'll probably never play them if I play the new one first.

Andromeda is completely unrelated to 1-3. Different characters, story, etc. Andromeda takes place 600 years after the events of ME2, in fact, the pilgrimage ships to the Andromeda Galaxy leave the Milky Way in 2185 which is the year ME2 is set in.
I've played through the trial available. It stops you from progressing once you got a certain part of the story. It seems pretty good, but also not sure how much long term value it has. I feel like I'm playing ME1 again. Driving a Rover around on planets from point to point. Don't think I'd pay full price for it.
Honestly... months later and the game is still glitchy as hell.
Not the best work for Mass Effect/Bioware
My personal opinion to anyone still on the fence... do not purchase this game.
At least wait until it's cheap/on sale
