Quote:In all due respect my good friend I think it's insulting for Allen Robinson to take credit for all of Bortles success especially when Hurns went over a thousand yards is well. I can make the argument it was the other way around because someone got to have the courage to throw those 50 50/50 balls and be a recipient of balls caught when Bortles scramble behind the backfield to get those same receivers extra time to get open on a given play. I guaranteed you this if Chad Henne was the Quarterback neither Allen Robinson or Hurns looks as promising as they do now.

Errr OK "friend" that's the reason I say a big part not the only reason

Bortles can be aggressive because he has a guy like a rob who will go up and get it. Everything's a two way street but considering a rob put up 900 more yards and 12 more tds I think my characterisation of his emergence as one of the best jump ball receivers in the NFL as a big part of bortles second year jump is pretty spot on
Bortles is on track to be an  elite quarterback for a number of reason. He uses the off season to improve his game by attending quarterback camp to improve his mechanics. He works with his receivers during the off season to improve timing and establish that intangible of unspoken knowledge that allow a receiver and quarterback to understand the direction of the receivers break to the inside or outside determined by the defensive position of the defender.  This ability to be on the same page as the receiver will improve with experience and is one of the keys to a successful passing game. He is the exact opposite of quarterbacks that believe they are so talented that they can use the off season to party ala Johnny football. Jag fans sit back and enjoy the future you have finally been bless with a pro-bowl quarterback that will put the Jaguars back on track to become a playoff team.
